Jury Citation

“Proma Tagore's writing challenges, examines, and stories what is called the human condition – or more aptly, the conditions that humans bring to bear on other humans. In language is not the only thing that breaks, Tagore has crafted a poignant volume of poetry that is essential reading for anyone interested in the poiesis of equity.” -- 2014 Dayne Ogilvie Prize for LGBTQ Emerging Writers Jury (Anna Camilleri, Connie Fife, and Bill Whitehead)
