Sandra
Martin
Sandra Martin is an award-winning long-form journalist and former columnist for The Globe and Mail. Her books include the anthology The First Man in My Life: Daughters Write about Their Fathers, Great Canadian Lives: A Cultural History of Modern Canada Through the Art of the Obit, and A Good Death: Making the Most of Our Final Choices, winner of the BC National Award for Canadian Non-Fiction and a finalist for The Donner Prize in Public Policy and the Dafoe History Prize. She is a former President of PEN Canada and a former board member of the Writers’ Trust of Canada. Martin lives in Toronto.
