Margaret Atwood is a co-founder of the Writers' Trust of Canada and the celebrated author of more than forty books of fiction, poetry, and critical essays including Oryx and Crake; the 2000 Booker Prize-winning The Blind Assassin; Alias Grace, which won the Scotiabank Giller Prize in Canada and the Premio Mondello in Italy; The Robber Bride; Cat’s Eye; The Handmaid’s Tale; and The Testaments, which co-won the 2019 Booker Prize. Atwood lives in Toronto.
