Janice Lynn Mather is a Bahamian-Canadian author. Her first novel, Learning to Breathe, was a Governor General’s Literary Award finalist, a BC Book Prize finalist, and winner of the Joan F. Kaywell Books Save Lives Award. She received an Amy Mathers Teen Book Award for her second novel, Facing the Sun, and recently released her debut short story collection, Uncertain Kin. Mather lives in Tsawwassen, British Columbia.
