Élise
Turcotte
Élise Turcotte is a poet, short story writer, and novelist. She won the Grand Prix du livre de Montreal, two Governor General’s Literary Awards, the Prix Ringuet from the Académie des lettres du Québec, and the Prix du Festival international de Poésie de Trois-Rivières. In 2011, the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec awarded her a prestigious career scholarship. Turcotte has published several works of literature for young people and her books have been translated into English, Spanish, and Catalan. She lives in Montreal.
