A.Z.
Farah
A.Z. Farah is a queer Somali writer who calls Toronto home. Her work is inspired by the folkloreand storytelling she heard as a child. She was shortlisted for the 2015 Commonwealth Short Story Prize and completed an MFA in creative writing at the University of Guelph. She is currently working on a short story collection about a family of storytellers spinning alternate tales of survival.
