Writers' Trust Awards
The Writers' Trust Awards is an annual celebration of Canada’s best books and supreme literary talents. Hosted by Nick Mount, author of Arrival: The Story of CanLit, the 2017 ceremony was held on November 14 at CBC's Glenn Gould Studio in Toronto.
One of Canada’s richest award nights, the evening features the presentation of seven literary prizes and more than $260,000 to Canadian writers, including the recently doubled $50,000 Rogers Writers’ Trust Fiction Prize and the $60,000 Hilary Weston Writers’ Trust Prize for Nonfiction.
