Jury Citation

The narrator in “With My Scarf Tied Just So” sharpens our vision of the world. A reproachful cat, a neighbour who designs abattoirs, a judgmental lover – this is not the Paris of travel brochures. A gorgeous story designed by a watchful eye, uncovering delicious vulnerabilities and the hidden truths we love.
